The ISES Solar World Congress is being held at the Centro Parque Conference Center in Chile´s capital Santiago, a very dynamic city of seven million inhabitants, and in a country that’s deeply committed to the fast deployment of renewable energy so as to totally change the energy matrix of Chile towards 100% renewable energy.
The Congress will feature technical presentations and interactive poster sessions on the latest renewable energy developments. The event will provide a rich variety of side events, workshops, conferences and work meetings to promote the interaction of all stakeholders, connect researchers, developers and financiers to the opportunities and needs of the Region in the renewable energy sector.
Centro Parque is a new and modern conference center situated in located inside Parque Araucano, a large public park that lies in Las Condes Municipality. It’s within walking distance from numerous hotels, restaurants and the Santiago Subway system.

Traveling to Centro Parque fromArturo Merino Benítez International Airport - via Central Station
When arriving at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, you will first have to travel to Santiago Central Station where you can change to Centro Parque. To reach Central Station, please take a cab or bus (between CLP 12,000-30,000) - here, please be advised to only accept rides from official and authorized cabs. You can also reach Central Station taking a bus, either the TurBus, connecting the Airport with Santiago Downtown and the Central Station (ca. 45 minute transfer). Alternatively, you can use Centropuerto, a shuttle bus service in the direction Santiago/ Los Héroes with a stop at Central Station. Tickets for both busses can be purchased at the ticket desks or on board of the bus. Both services are located on the first level of the airport.
From Santiago Central Station, please take the Metro line #1 going into the direction of Los Dominicos and exit at Manquehue station. From the Metro Station it is a 10-minute walk to reach Centro Parque, please see the map below.
