The International Solar Energy Society is happy to host several Young ISES events throughout the days of this joint conference, especially engaging our young audience in the congress and offering many exciting and fruitful ways of participation, knowledge-sharing and networking.
Young ISES is a social and professional network for young members of the International Solar Energy Society providing the opportunity to connect to peers and to experienced ISES members. Meetings and social events are organized at the biennial ISES Solar World Congress and the EuroSun conferences.

On Sunday late afternoon, before the Welcome Reception, Young ISES offers an informal get together to everybody interested. This get-together will introduce you to ISES, team members on site and most importantly your young peers who are also attending the congress. Here you will have the chance to meet and connect before the official start of the congress. Practical tips on how to stay in touch and how to connect further during the conference will be shared.
For a chance to connect in a relaxed atmosphere, Young ISES will organize a dinner for all young congress attendees interested. We will visit a local restaurant, enjoy local food and drink and have a chance to discuss and connect after a long day of learning and conference business. The costs for the dinner will be covered by the participants.
To engage you throughout the congress, we will provide you with feed-back opportunities on your experiences at the congress, the things you learned and much more. A social-media challenge will help transport the conference spirit to our peers around the world and a fun prize awaits the winner. Keep your eyes open throughout the conference for these and other ways to engage!
Four great days of the joint conference will have come to an end on Thursday, November 7. We invite you to have one last drink and chat with your new friends and colleagues before we all head back home. Join us on this last night out together!
